Two Spitfires of the US Navy, Composite Squadron Seven, crossing the Normandy beachhead. Aircraft of CVN-7 were used as 'spotters' for the battleships off the Normandy coast. These ships could fire up to 22 miles inland. Signed by 6 Normandy veterans.
